Manzil-e-Maqsood

Co-Founder and CEO

Meet Manzil, a remarkable individual who believes in the power of knowledge and innovation. She is an esteemed alumna of the prestigious University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford in the UK, and the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU) in Pakistan. Her academic journey has equipped her with expertise in various domains including education research, assessment (with a specialization in formative assessment), educational technologies, project management, and teaching. Through her remarkable accomplishments and unwavering dedication, Manzil has revolutionized the educational landscape. By making learning fun, relevant, and applicable to real-world situations, she inspires students to become lifelong learners and paves the way for a future generation of innovators and problem solvers.

Talha Javed

Director and Co-Founder

Talha is an esteemed alumnus of the University of Cambridge, boasting over 20 years of senior management experience. He specializes in the clean energy and climate change sectors, as well as the ICT4D (Information and Communication Technology for Development) domain. With 12 years of C-level experience, Talha brings a wealth of expertise to his roles. Through his exemplary career achievements and strong leadership skills, Talha continues to drive impactful change in the realms of clean energy, climate change, and ICT4D.

Matthew W.Addison

Senior Advisor | Energy

Mr. Addison is a globally recognized expert in climate change, clean energy, and sustainable energy transitions, with over 40 years of experience in energy policy, planning, regulation, and sector restructuring. He has led major international initiatives as Chief of Party and Project Manager across three consecutive USAID Energy IDIQs. His expertise includes climate risk assessments—particularly infrastructure vulnerabilities—and integrated waste-to-energy solutions. Mr. Addison has played a key role in the restructuring and privatization of networked industries in more than 30 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. He holds an MS in Economics with specialization in Environment & Energy from Florida State University, US.

Dr. Abdul Hameed Nayyar

Senior Advisor | Education

Dr Nayyar also known as A.H. Nayyar, is a Pakistani physicist, author, and a consultant on the issues of education, nuclear safety, and energy. His field of specialization is in the physics of condensed matter, and served in the faculties of the Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad from 1973 till 2005 and the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Nayyar is known for voicing for education reforms and military arms control, which he directed research programs at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute in Islamabad. He is also one of the founding members of The Black Hole, an intellectual space in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Dr. Arshad Ali

Dr. Arshad Ali is a distinguished technology leader with over 20 years of experience in AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and digital transformation. As Chief Innovation Officer at SPS, Silicon Valley, he has led enterprise-scale implementations of cutting-edge technologies and developed AI-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges in healthcare and smart infrastructure. He collaborates with global institutions such as Stanford, Caltech, and UWE on advanced research. Recognized with the Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Pride of Performance by the Government of Pakistan, Dr. Arshad continues to mentor emerging tech leaders and shape the future of innovation and AI across sectors. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Faiza Masood

Dr. Faiza Masood is a leading Health Tech Specialist bringing over 20 years of experience in Gynaecology, Nutrition, and Cosmetology. With deep clinical expertise and a passion for innovation, she guides XGenAI work at the intersection of healthcare, wellness, and technology. Dr. Faiza plays a pivotal role in shaping our health and nutrition initiatives, ensuring that our solutions are grounded in medical insight and community relevance. Her strategic input drives the development of impactful, user-centered health tech products that promote holistic well-being across diverse populations.

Muhammad Abrar ul Haq Jilani

Mechatronics Engineer | Business Analyst

Muhammad Abrar is a dynamic Tech Expert and Business Analyst with a strong foundation in Mechatronics Engineering and Business Analytics. He brings hands-on experience in developing AI-driven systems, IoT solutions, automation tools, and data visualization platforms tailored to real-world applications. He has led technical and operational efforts in national STEM and climate education initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, scalable solutions. At XGenAI, he plays a key role in aligning technology with business goals to build innovative, efficient, and market-ready products for diverse audiences. He holds a BS in Mechatronics Engineering from Air University, Pakistan and is pursuing a Masters in Business Analytics from FAST National University, Pakistan.

Dr. Qaiser Durrani

Senior Advisor | EdTech

Dr. Qaiser Durrani is a Professor, former Dean (SEAS) and Rector of GIFT University. He also heads University Research Counsel as well as its Curriculum Committee. He is currently a member of different academic bodies and selection boards of various Universities in Pakistan. Dr. Durrani has published his research work at various journals and conferences. His area of research is in Human Computer Interaction and Software Engineering. He has worked as Principal Investigator on a number of projects which were funded by organizations like ICT R&D fund, FAST-NU, and IT Industry. Dr. Durrani has a rich teaching, management as well as software development experience from places like FAST-NU, CresSoft, George Washington University, and Inter-American Development Bank.

Dr. Fatima Khalique

Tech Lead - AI

Dr. Fatima Khalique is a distinguished AI researcher and thought leader with over a decade of experience spanning machine learning, data science, and intelligent systems. At XGenAI. She leads the development of advanced AI solutions across multiple sectors—driving innovation in areas such as predictive analytics, data interoperability, and emerging technologies. Her expertise in bridging academic research with real-world applications makes her a key force behind our AI-driven product vision. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Software Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning and Health Informatics from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan . She also earned an MS in Computer Science from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Muhammad Hadi Akhtar

Product Designer

Muhammad Hadi Akhtar is a UI/UX and product designer specializing in user-centered digital experiences. He leads design for complex systems, including ERP systems, AI-powered dashboards, and EdTech platforms, guiding products from concept to high-fidelity execution. With expertise in UX strategy, interface design, and rapid prototyping, Hadi brings clarity to intricate systems, aligning user needs with business goals. His experience extends to AI-driven Proof of Concepts and platform transformations in education and enterprise domains, positioning him as a strategic partner for design-led innovation. He holds a BS in Mass Communication/Media Studies.

Dr. Muhammad Irfan Tariq

Senior Advisor | Climate Tech

Irfan Tariq is a seasoned expert in policy, regulatory, and institutional development with over 35 years of public sector experience, specializing in environment, climate change, e-mobility, and sustainable development. He led major national initiatives including the National Electric Vehicle Policy, Climate Change Policy, and NDCs to the UNFCCC. He has worked extensively with international donors such as the World Bank, WWF, GIZ, UNDP, and ADB, and served as a member of the CDM Executive Board, contributed to its transition into Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. He has developed multi-donor climate finance projects and built strong networks across Government institutions. He holds an MS in Built Environment- Theory and Practice of Environmentally sustainable Development from UCL, England.

Muhammad Fahad Nasir

AI Expert

Muhammad Fahad Nasir is an AI researcher, specializing in robotics, deep learning, and computer vision. With a background in Electronics Engineering and experience as an AI Application Engineer at WeGo Robotics, he brings industry expertise to his research. His interests include precision agriculture, vision systems, and object detection. Currently, he develops industrial-scale Visual Learning Models and fine-tunes Visual Foundation Models for real-world applications, leveraging his academic and professional experience to drive innovation in AI.
